A Taste of Green Gold from Assisi’s Hills

Our green gold is here to surprise you. A marvelous villa in the hills of Assisi, Villa Solana has a unique and breathtaking view over the sunsets above valleys and mountains facing Perugia and Assisi. The Villa is an authentic stone house, built following the local craftsmanship tradition, established on the top of a hillside, and surrounded by 5 hectares of olives grove, forest and fruit orchard.

Hand-Picked Olives, Cold-Pressed Freshness

The Olive Grove is counting circa 700 olive trees, which are the Moraiolo type, Frantoio and Leccino, giving a unique blend, belonging to the famous area of the “Hills Assisi-Spoleto”, which is recognized for the quality of its olive oil production globally.

When collected at the beginning of November by stripping by hand the olive branches, the olives are immediately processed in “Frantoio Valorosi” to their maximum freshness and integrity with a slow and cold pressing, to maintain all the peculiar organoleptic characteristics.


